77 year old Alan contacted us to say that he had tried to replace a socket outlet, but it seemed to be tripping the circuit breaker once he’d done it, so asked us to help. Alan wasn’t aware of our Positive Connections initiative at the time but was over the moon when we told him that we could sort this issue for FREE! 

Upon our arrival, it was clear what the issue was – loose connections! With the socket low down and in the corner of a room, Alan mentioned that he had struggled to get down to it because of the pain in his knees. With a quick re-termination of the cables going into the socket and a test of the circuit to make sure it was all okay, and Alan sockets we back up and running!
