Our electrician John visited Mr Philip Simpson, a pensioner in Falmouth, to replace a faulty under-cabinet light in his kitchen. The existing fixture had deteriorated over time, making it difficult for Mr Simpson to see clearly when preparing meals and using his kitchen.

John carefully removed the old unit and installed a new strip light, positioning it to provide optimal illumination of the countertop below. He also checked the nearby socket to ensure it was functioning safely, as we always prioritise electrical safety, especially in the homes of elderly residents.

The new lighting immediately improved visibility in the kitchen, creating a brighter, more functional space. Mr Simpson was delighted with both the installation and our Positive Connections initiative, which provides essential electrical services at no cost to elderly and vulnerable community members.
