Home Electrical Improvements in Truro

We've recently completed a series of electrical improvements for a Truro homeowner, enhancing their property's lighting and ventilation systems for improved functionality and energy efficiency.

In a recent endeavour, we took on a range of electrical upgrades for a Truro resident keen on modernising their home’s lighting and ventilation systems. The first task on our list was sorting out a troublesome sensor-controlled driveway floodlight. We swapped it out for a similar unit, taking care to house all the electrical connections in an IP-rated box – a crucial step for safety and weather resistance.

Next up, we turned our attention to a far corner of the property that needed brightening up. Here, we fitted a new floodlight with a twist – unlike its driveway counterpart, this one’s controlled by an existing internal wall switch. It’s a setup that gives the homeowner more flexibility in managing their outdoor lighting.

Indoors, the ground floor bathroom was our next port of call. The extractor fan had seen better days, so we installed a new unit with some clever features. Now, it kicks in when the lights come on and keeps running for a bit after they’re switched off. It’s a simple change that’ll go a long way in keeping the bathroom fresh and damp-free.

To cap things off, we went on a bit of a bulb-changing mission. We replaced the lamps in various light fittings throughout the property, which should not only brighten up the place but potentially trim down the energy bills too.

Throughout the job, we kept our focus on adhering to all relevant safety standards and using proven high quality components. After all, it’s not just about improving lighting and ventilation – it’s about giving our clients that all-important peace of mind.
