Our team headed to Redruth to upgrade a client’s hot water system with a new mechanical immersion timer unit. We fitted this nifty device in their airing cupboard, connecting it to the immersion heater. The beauty of this setup is that it allows for both automated and manual control of the hot water. The timer function means our clients can set specific times for the immersion heater to kick in, ensuring they’ve got hot water when they need it without wasting energy heating it when they don’t. But we’ve also included a boost function, giving them the flexibility to override the timer if they need extra hot water outside the scheduled times.
