This job involved upgrading an outdated electrical system to improve safety and functionality. The initial inspection showed an old, exposed electrical setup with outdated components and potential safety hazards.

The main tasks completed were:

Removal of the old electrical bits, including the exposed meter, circuit breakers, and wiring.
Installation of a new consumer unit with a 6-way RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection) and SPD (Surge Protection Device). This modern unit provides better circuit protection and safety features.
Proper mounting of the electricity meter.
