Working with the kitchen’s existing design, we installed a sophisticated LED lighting system that transforms the space’s functionality and aesthetics. The installation integrated seamlessly with the kitchen’s pre-existing recessed channels beneath the worktops, providing elegant illumination that highlights the wooden surfaces and contemporary grey tile splashback.
The project included installing warm white LED strips beneath both the main kitchen worktop and the island unit, creating a consistent and practical lighting solution throughout the space. We carefully positioned the LED strips to maximise their effectiveness while keeping the transformers discreetly housed within the kitchen cupboards, maintaining the kitchen’s clean aesthetic.
Understanding the importance of practical power solutions in modern kitchens, we incorporated USB-enabled socket outlets. A centrally positioned double socket featuring both USB-C and USB-A connections was installed beneath the breakfast bar worktop, providing convenient charging options for mobile devices while maintaining the kitchen’s sleek appearance.
The lighting control system was integrated with the existing kitchen wall switches, allowing for intuitive operation that fits naturally with the homeowner’s daily routine. This integration means no additional control panels were needed, maintaining the kitchen’s minimalist design aesthetic.
As part of our comprehensive service, we also addressed the kitchen’s ventilation system. The cooker hood extraction system received an upgrade with the installation of a low-profile reducer and rigid duct elbow, significantly improving airflow while preventing any potential ducting collapse. This practical improvement enhances the kitchen’s functionality without compromising its appearance.
