There’s something special about spending time outdoors in Cornwall, isn’t there? Whether it’s for a bite to eat or just soaking up the fresh air, our patios are like an extra room of the house. So when a client asked us to pop an outdoor socket on their rear patio, we knew it’d make a real difference to how they use the space.

We went for an IP65 rated socket for this one. In plain English, that means it’s tough enough to handle whatever the Cornish weather throws at it. Rain, shine, or a bit of sea spray, this socket’s up for the challenge.

Fitting it was pretty straightforward, but we always take extra care with outdoor electrics. Can’t be too careful when you’re mixing electricity and the elements, can you? We made sure everything was sealed up tight and secure. No chance of any water sneaking into this socket.

Now our client’s patio is ready for all sorts. Fancy firing up an electric grill for a barbie? No problem. Want to string up some lights for a cosy evening? Easy-peasy. It’s opened up a whole new world of possibilities for their outdoor space.
