Loft Lighting Installation in Newquay Home

A nifty little job in a Newquay home, adding some much-needed illumination to a previously dim loft space. The homeowner had been fumbling about in the dark whenever they needed to fetch something from storage, so we stepped in to sort that out.

We started by finding the existing power feed that was already tucked away up there – no need to run new wiring from the ground floor, which saved a bit of time and hassle. Then we got to work installing a new light fixture, carefully positioning it to cast a good spread of light across the loft area.

To keep things neat and tidy, we used surface clip cabling along the joists. It’s a clean look that doesn’t interfere with any future loft plans the homeowner might have. The real game-changer, though, was adding a switch at the loft entrance. No more stretching and reaching in the dark – now it’s just a quick flick, and the whole space lights up.

A simple addition made a space so much more usable. It’ll make rummaging through those Christmas decorations boxes a whole lot easier!
