New Exterior Lighting in Holywell

We recently installed some new outdoor lights for a family in the area.

Our latest job was all about bringing some much-needed light to a home that was feeling a bit too dark after sunset. The family wanted to feel safer and more comfortable moving around their property at night, so we set to work on a solution.

We installed three exterior lights to boost security and visibility. For the back and side of the house, we went with 10W Collingwood flood sensor lights. These are brilliant because they only switch on when they detect movement, saving energy and avoiding unnecessary light pollution. We took care to angle them just right, making sure they cover all the important areas without bothering the neighbours.

At the front, we fitted a compact IP-rated bulkhead light. It’s not flashy, but it does the job perfectly – lighting up the entrance without being too harsh on the eyes.

It was great to see the difference these lights made. The family can now pop out to the bin or let the dog out without feeling like they’re stumbling around in the dark. And of course, there’s the added peace of mind that comes with knowing your property is well-lit and less appealing to any potential intruders.

It’s a simple change that can have such a big impact. It’s not just about seeing in the dark – it’s about feeling secure in your own home.
