Receiving an Unsatisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) can be unsettling, but it’s the first step towards a safer home. For this property in Newquay, the report highlighted a couple of key issues, including the absence of main protective bonding for the water supply. We attended to carry out the necessary remedial work, which involved installing a new 10mm² bonding conductor and replacing a damaged socket, before re-testing the installation and issuing a new, Satisfactory certificate.

In Helston, we carried out the second fix electrical work for a newly created en-suite shower room. This stage is all about connecting the fixtures and accessories that bring the space to life. We installed recessed downlights, a heated towel rail, and an illuminated, heated mirror. A key part of the project was fitting a powerful loft-mounted extractor fan system to ensure proper ventilation, completing the transformation from a building site into a functional, modern bathroom.

To avoid disruption to the existing walls, we used surface-mounted trunking to neatly conceal the new wiring, providing a practical and clean solution for getting power exactly where it was needed.
