Need a reliable electrician for your venue?

Hospitality & Leisure Electrical Contractors

Hospitality venues live and die by the guest experience, and your electrical installation plays a bigger part in that than most people realise. We work with hotels, restaurants, holiday parks, and leisure operators, delivering work that’s properly designed, properly tested, and fitted around your trading hours.

Lighting That Sets the Mood

In hospitality, lighting is doing a lot more than just helping people see what they're doing. It sets the atmosphere, shapes the experience, and influences how long guests want to stay. We work with hotel designers, restaurant operators, and leisure venue owners to deliver lighting schemes that get the balance right between ambient warmth, feature highlights, and practical task lighting. Dimming, scene control, and zoning all come into play, so the venue feels different at breakfast than it does on a Saturday night without anyone having to flick switches manually. The result is a space that genuinely supports the experience you're trying to create.

Guest Safety Sorted

When you've got the public on your premises around the clock, the safety side of your electrical installation matters more than ever. Emergency lighting, EICR inspections, RCD protection, and proper testing of portable appliances are all legal requirements, and getting any of it wrong puts your guests, your staff, and your business at serious risk. We handle the lot, from installation and certification through to ongoing testing schedules that keep you compliant year after year. Insurance audits, fire risk assessments, and licensing inspections all get easier when the paperwork is already in order and the systems are doing exactly what they should be doing.

We Work Around You

Hospitality venues can't just close for the week while the electrician sorts things out. Service runs across long hours, guests are on-site through the evening, and the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house all need to keep functioning even when work is going on around them. We're used to planning around that. Out-of-hours visits, overnight work, phased shutdowns, and quiet-period scheduling are all part of how we operate, and we'll agree the approach with you upfront. The aim is always the same. Get the job done properly without your guests ever knowing it was happening, and without your team having to apologise for anything.

Reliable When It Matters

A blown distribution board on a Saturday night in peak season is the kind of problem that costs hospitality businesses thousands and ruins guest experiences that took years to build. We take that seriously. Our installations are properly specified, properly tested, and properly documented, so they don't let you down when you can least afford it. For existing systems, we offer planned maintenance contracts with priority callout cover, so if something does go wrong outside of normal hours, you've got a number to call and an engineer who'll get to you fast. It's the kind of safety net that hospitality operators come to rely on.

Top Questions & Answers

Here are the top questions we’re frequently asked about 3-phase power installations…

Yes, and it’s pretty much standard practice for us on hospitality jobs. We’re happy to work overnight, before opening, during quiet periods, or in phased shifts to keep your venue trading while the work happens. We’ll discuss the practicalities at quote stage, agree the approach with you, and stick to it so there’s no awkward conversation with guests about why an electrician is drilling holes during dinner service.

An EICR is an Electrical Installation Condition Report, a full inspection of your fixed electrical installation by a qualified electrician. For hospitality and leisure premises, current guidance recommends an inspection at least every five years, though some insurers and licensing authorities require them more frequently. We carry out the inspection, produce the report, and clearly identify any remedial work needed to bring the installation up to a satisfactory standard.

We can do both. For larger projects we often work alongside an interior designer or lighting specialist, but we’re equally happy to put together a lighting layout ourselves based on the look you’re after, how the space is used, and the budget you’ve got to work with. We’ll talk through fittings, controls, colour temperatures, and dimming options so the finished scheme genuinely delivers what you wanted rather than something that just lights the room.

Our planned maintenance contracts include priority callout cover, so if something goes wrong on a Friday evening or over a bank holiday weekend, you’ve got a number to call and a quick response. For venues without a contract, we’ll still do our best to help, but contract customers get priority and preferential rates on any reactive work that comes up.

We do. Portable appliance testing is straightforward for us to schedule alongside other compliance visits, covering kitchen equipment, bar appliances, office kit, and anything else with a plug. We provide full test records and labelling on every item, so you’ve got the documentation ready for insurance, licensing, and any fire risk assessment that asks about it.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Our 3-Phase Installation Process

BEFORE

Site Visit: We come to your venue to take a look at the space, the existing installation, and the practical realities of working around your trading hours.

Design Plan: We put together a lighting and electrical plan that suits your venue, your atmosphere, and your operational requirements, with full input from you.

Fixed Quote: We send you a clear, itemised quote that sets out exactly what’s included and what the project will cost, with no vague items or surprise variations.

DURING

First Fix: We carry out the disruptive work in agreed windows, running cables and containment when it has the least impact on your guests and your service.

Installation: We fit luminaires, accessories, and controls to the agreed positions, making sure everything aligns properly and looks the part once the job is finished.

Commissioning: We commission lighting scenes, dimming controls, and any other systems with you, so the venue is set up exactly how it needs to operate from day one.

AFTER

Testing: We carry out full testing and inspection of the completed installation, issuing certification that’s ready for insurance, licensing, and your records.

Walkthrough: We show you and your team how the controls work, how to make adjustments, and what to do if anything ever needs attention somewhere down the line.

Aftercare: We’re easy to reach for any future works, repairs, or emergency callouts, with priority cover available through our planned maintenance contracts.
