Replacing kitchen electrical accessories and fitting a new ceiling extractor fan at a residential property in Newquay. The scope covered three 2-gang socket outlets, a 4-gang labelled isolator plate for built-in appliances, two switched fused spurs, a light switch, a fan isolator, and a 100mm ceiling-mounted extractor fan wired with a timer-overrun function.

Meter tails were upgraded, circuits extended, and an Electrical Installation Certificate issued on completion.

The new 24-way 3-phase consumer unit was installed with upgraded 25mm tails and individual RCBO protection throughout, bringing the installation in line with the 18th Edition wiring regulations and enabling an Electrical Installation Certificate to be issued for Building Control notification.

A kitchen renovation in Newquay required a full electrical first fix to support a completely new layout. The cooker supply and fridge freezer circuit were both relocated, new socket provisions were added to the utility/WC, and an existing socket was raised to counter height – all carried out ahead of the fit-out stage.
