January 2026

We recently completed a project in Falmouth, focusing on a full consumer unit replacement with modern surge protection. This job also involved the careful alteration of living room sockets to accommodate a wall-mounted TV and a new fireplace, as well as an essential repair to rodent-damaged wiring in the kitchen, significantly improving the home’s electrical safety and functionality.

December 2025

Hallways and landings are often the first thing people see in a home, and the right light fitting can make a real statement. We had a project in Newquay involving the installation of a distinctive, vintage-style pendant light. This sort of job is about more than just connecting wires; it’s about making sure a unique piece is mounted securely and safely, transforming an ordinary space into one with real character.

December 2025

A recent project in Chacewater involved the installation of a new humidistat-controlled extractor fan in a utility room. This installation provides an automated solution to control humidity and prevent condensation, with an exterior grill chosen to perfectly match the property’s existing features.

December 2025

We relocated and replaced an existing consumer unit with a modern flush mounted consumer unit, positioned at high level in the hallway of this Newquay property. The work included extending and rerouting cabling to accommodate the new location, alongside utility room socket improvements, all carried out to comply with 18th Edition wiring regulations.

December 2025

A homeowner in St Austell was experiencing a persistent issue with a lighting circuit that repeatedly tripped the fuse. Our investigation involved a systematic fault-finding process, which led us to replace the existing outdoor lights with new, client-supplied fittings. To provide a comprehensive solution and address a potentially faulty component, we also repositioned the circuit onto a new MCB within the consumer unit, restoring safe and reliable operation to their lighting.

December 2025

This project in Truro involved upgrading a property’s electrical system by replacing two outdated consumer units. We consolidated all circuits into a single, modern 20-way board complete with individual RCBO protection and an integrated Surge Protection Device (SPD) to safeguard sensitive electronics.

December 2025

Emergency lighting replacement at a commercial premises in Newquay, addressing both exterior bulkhead fittings and interior panel lighting to maintain compliant safety systems for occupant protection during power failures.

December 2025

We are currently on-site at a new build property in Truro, Cornwall, carrying out a comprehensive first fix electrical installation. This crucial stage involves installing all the cabling and back boxes within the timber frame structure, laying the essential groundwork for lighting, power, and data systems before the plasterboarding begins.

December 2025

A recent project in Looe involved replacing an older fuse box with a modern, fire-rated consumer unit. The new installation included individual circuit protection and an integrated Surge Protection Device (SPD). We also carried out a full electrical inspection and testing of the property’s circuits, rectifying any issues to align with current safety regulations.

December 2025

Extending an existing kitchen circuit to provide power and lighting in a conservatory requires careful planning and proper cable management. This Newquay installation involved routing new circuitry beneath kitchen units before surface-mounting trunking within the conservatory space to deliver both socket outlets and a dedicated lighting supply.

December 2025

This project involved upgrading a bedroom’s electrical outlets for modern convenience. A single socket was converted into two double sockets, both featuring integrated USB ports for direct device charging. An additional double socket was also installed in a new location to improve access to power within the room.

December 2025

Working in a newly constructed property in Carluddon, we installed three bespoke pendant lights over the dining table and added a concealed double socket within the kitchen larder cupboard to provide convenient power access for appliances.
