August 2026

A property in Bodmin required a full consumer unit replacement following an unsatisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report. The existing board was replaced with a FuseBox 15-way RCBO unit with integrated surge protection, with the incoming meter tails upgraded as part of the same visit. Full electrical testing was carried out across all circuits, with an Electrical Installation Certificate and satisfactory EICR issued on completion.

A full consumer unit relocation and replacement carried out at a residential property in Newquay. The old board was repositioned to eye level and replaced with a 21-way RCBO consumer unit featuring integrated surge protection. Meter tails were upgraded, circuits extended, and an Electrical Installation Certificate issued on completion.

Following an Electrical Installation Condition Report at a residential property in Wadebridge, Wave Electrical Solutions carried out a full programme of remedial works. Two ageing consumer units were replaced with modern RCBO units featuring integrated surge protection, alongside a range of safety-critical repairs including smoke alarm replacement, lighting circuit fault rectification, and the decommissioning of non-compliant bathroom electrical installations.

A FuseBox 15-way RCBO consumer unit with integrated surge protection was installed at a domestic property in Bodmin, following an EICR that identified several observations requiring attention. Alongside the new board, an earth fault on the sockets ring circuit was traced and rectified, with upgraded meter tails fitted and a satisfactory EICR issued on completion.

A residential consumer unit replacement in Mevagissey – an outdated board swapped for a fire-rated FuseBox 15-way RCBO unit with integrated surge protection, meter tails upgraded, fire-rated cabling installed, and a new 20A circuit added for a water misting system. Completed at short notice with an Electrical Installation Certificate issued on completion.

We carried out a consumer unit replacement and relocation at a property in St Day, Cornwall. The existing unit was moved to an adjacent wall and replaced with a 15-way fire-rated RCBO consumer unit with integrated surge protection, with all circuits extended through the first-floor void and fully tested to produce the required Electrical Installation Certificate.

Wave Electrical Solutions carried out a full EICR, consumer unit replacement and a range of electrical improvements at a residential property in Liskeard. Work included new cellar lighting, additional socket outlets, bedside wall lighting, a landing switch relocation and a complete overhaul of the external entrance lighting – replacing a failing, waterlogged setup with a new PIR floodlight.

Following an Electrical Installation Condition Report, this Newquay property required a full consumer unit replacement along with several remedial works to bring the installation in line with current wiring regulations. A new 7-way RCBO consumer unit with integrated surge protection was installed, the incoming tails were upgraded, and additional compliance work was carried out throughout the property.

A residential property in St Austell required the consolidation of two separate distribution boards into a single modern consumer unit with integrated surge protection. The existing setup included a main board and an Economy 7 board, both of which were replaced with a 15-way RCBO consumer unit featuring an SPD. The incoming meter tails were upgraded to 25mm double insulated cabling, and all circuits were tested to current 18th Edition standards with a full Electrical Installation Certificate issued upon completion.
